Why prices differ between cities

The most common question we get about pricing is why New York costs more than Miami. The answer is unglamorous: studio rent, staffing and operating costs vary enormously between markets, and we price each city against what it actually costs to run classes there to our standards rather than picking one national number and absorbing the difference.

What does not vary is what you get. The class length, the capacity cap, the number of puppy care staff in the room and the welfare standards are identical in every studio. We do not run a cheaper version of the class in cheaper cities.

What's included

There is nothing to buy on arrival, no equipment hire, and no mandatory extras. The price you see when booking is the price you pay.

Is a membership actually worth it?

Broadly, the maths works like this. A single class in most cities sits between $50 and $70. If you attend once or twice a year, single-class booking is the right choice and a membership will not pay for itself. If you attend monthly or more, the per-class cost under a membership drops materially and it also removes the friction of paying each time, which for most members is the real reason they keep it.

Private and corporate bookings

Private classes for birthdays, team events, bachelorette parties and celebrations are priced per event rather than per person, and can be hosted at one of our studios or at your venue. Corporate bookings are a significant part of what we do, and the format works well for teams precisely because nobody has to be good at it or extroverted to enjoy it.

How we compare on price

We are not the cheapest puppy yoga available in most of our markets and we would rather say so than let you discover it. Operators running seasonal pop-ups or larger classes with less staffing can and do charge less.

What the price buys is the things that are expensive to run: capped class sizes, dedicated puppy care staff in every room in addition to the instructor, rest intervals between sessions that limit how many classes any puppy does, and permanent studios rather than borrowed rooms. If those things do not matter to you, there are cheaper options and we would rather you chose knowingly.

Ways people save that we do not advertise loudly

• Weekday mornings are the same price but consistently the calmest classes and the easiest to book at short notice. If you are flexible, you get a better experience for the same money.
• Gift cards for groups. If you are organising for several people, a gift card each lets everyone pick their own date rather than trying to find one slot that works.
• Memberships shared across formats. A membership is not tied to one studio or one class type, so a member who travels between our cities can use it in all of them.
• Free name transfer. If you cannot make a class, transferring the ticket costs nothing. People routinely pay a reschedule fee when a free transfer would have solved it.

What the price does not include

To be complete about it: the price covers the class, the mat and the studio. It does not include parking, travel, or anything you buy elsewhere. There is no additional charge at the studio, no equipment hire and no mandatory extras — but there is also nothing bundled in beyond the class itself.

Booking, changes and refunds

This is the part worth reading before you pay, because our policy is stricter than some people expect.

• Refunds are not offered. This applies to all class bookings.
• Free name transfer. You can transfer your ticket to someone else at no cost. If your plans are uncertain, this is almost always the easiest solution.
• Paid reschedule. You can move your booking to another date for a small fee, provided it is more than 48 hours before the class.
• Late arrival. Entry closes ten minutes after the start time. After that the class cannot be joined and the ticket is not refunded.
• If we cancel. If a class cannot run safely — including if puppies cannot attend — you are refunded in full.
